Originally conceptualized as Golden Tokyo International Entertainment Agency, the company, after careful planning and meticulous staff selection, was established in 1999 as a sole proprietorship. It was granted a license by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) to operate as an overseas recruitment agency on January 4, 2000. Its incorporation on June 22 of the same year gave birth to Golden Tokyo International Entertainment Agency, Inc., a corporate organization dedicated to the recruitment and deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
For five years, the company focused on the recruitment, training, and deployment of Filipino entertainers to the lucrative Japanese market. Starting 2005, however, Golden Tokyo International Entertainment Agency, Inc. has set sights on expanding its operations in competitive markets that demand other skills and capabilities. The transformation began with the change of its corporate name to GOLDEN LEGACY JOBMOVERS CORPORATION. The new name embodies its primary objective of moving people, providing them jobs where and when they want, which best suit their skills, talents and interests, and of supplying our clients with the most competent workers, according to their requirements.
